As an extension of our Feed a Family program where we collect food donations and supply it to various individuals and communities, HUMANITY FIRST also delivers food to the door-steps of residents who are in great need. Many members of our Canadian community are facing challenges in providing daily sustenance for themselves and their families, and cannot reach us due to transportation or physical mobility constraints. HUMANITY FIRST works hard to tackle poverty and homelessness, and although we provide blankets and warm food for the homeless around our cities, our main focus is on prevention. By guiding individuals away from the downward spiral that may lead to homelessness, HUMANITY FIRST concentrates on assisting new immigrants in their early struggle of settlement in Canada. Through this program we also offer counselling on social, economical and legal issues to new comers.

HUMANITY FIRST supports children living in unfortunate circumstances to exceed their academic potential. This program has made many children's dream come true by sending them to educational and recreational camps, and by providing them with necessary equipment to accelerate their academic growth in schools. Poor vision impedes one's ability to carry out daily tasks and affects a child's ability to learn. Our aim is to provide eyewear to underprivileged individuals in North America and deliver clear vision to those in need. Under this program, HUMANITY FIRST provides a pair of glasses to those who need one but are financially limited and the expense is not covered or funded by any other source.
